Brno, Oct. 10 – The South Moravia Tourism Centre is once again promoting the best gastro businesses in the region in the new themed guide, “Gourmet South Moravia 2022”. The award ceremony for the third edition took place on Thursday 6 October in the Industra Hall at Nova Zbrojovka, alongside the sixth edition of Gourmet Brno, which is hosted by TIC Brno. South Moravia is the warmest and most fertile region in the Czech Republic and you can also find the oldest traces of settlement in the Czech territory there. It is a place worth visiting both for those who love nature and those who are interested in cultural monuments. If you visit the city in the spring or summer months, a quick tram ride from the centre will get you to the small but relaxing Masaryk University Botanic Gardens. A total of 43 businesses were selected from these nominations, in five categories. An evaluation committee made up of independent experts, journalists, and influencers then visited these places. Brno’s compact centre is largely a pedestrian only zone and not terribly difficult to navigate for self guided touring types.
